About Me
👋 Hi, I am Chaden Ben Ammar, a Teleinformatics Engineer working across DevOps, DevSecOps, and Cloud Engineering. I like building infrastructure that's secure by default rather than secured as an afterthought and I am currently ranked in the top 1% on TryHackMe.
Most of my hands-on work sits at the intersection of cloud and platform engineering: Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure and AKS, Docker, Terraform, Helm, Ansible, and GitOps. I care about infrastructure that's reproducible and portable, not click-ops that only lives in one engineer's head.
On the DevSecOps side, that means CI/CD pipelines with security built into the pipeline itself infrastructure as code, container hardening, GitOps delivery with Argo CD, and secrets management with HashiCorp Vault, so credentials never end up hardcoded or floating around in plaintext configs.
I also spend time on the application and cloud security side — vulnerability scanning, security testing, container security, and access control using tools like Trivy, SonarQube, Snyk, Burp Suite, Nmap, and Wireshark to catch issues before they ship rather than after.
One of the more substantial projects I've worked on was a generative AI platform, where I helped lead its migration from a Docker Swarm deployment on a single VM to a proper Kubernetes architecture on Azure AKS, standing up the surrounding platform with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Argo CD, Vault, Istio, and a Prometheus/Grafana/Loki observability stack along the way.
What ties all of this together for me is automation, security by design, and observability taking infrastructure and security problems that are genuinely messy and turning them into something maintainable. I'm currently open to roles in DevSecOps and Cloud Engineering, including platform engineering and cloud security.

Secure File Transfer System with Threat Detection

📘 Purpose
To design a secure platform for file uploads/downloads that integrates runtime threat detection and full DevSecOps automation.
🧾 Description
A full-stack secure file transfer application allowing users to upload and download files with integrity verification and metadata management. The system integrates threat detection mechanisms using cryptographic hash checks, ClamAV and YARA placeholders, and runtime monitoring with Falco. Alerts and audit logs are visualized in Grafana dashboards. The deployment is fully automated using Docker Compose, Ansible, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD, while CI/CD pipelines enforce code quality and security through GitHub Actions, SonarCloud, Snyk, and Trivy.
